A Community Sticking Together
It seems as though all we hear about these days is the economy, social unrest, and political controversy, but if you've ever made a visit to Florence then you may have a sense of how a small community can come together during these difficult times. Just a short drive up Route 9W from downtown Northampton, Florence is a thriving community full of restaurants, art studios, medical facilities, and numerous shops and businesses.
When Jericho's Kitchen opened its' doors at the end of July, the local community was there to embrace its newest addition. Despite the struggling economy, the local business association and residents made sure that the restaurant felt well supported and as the flowers and the well wishers continued to pour in, it's obvious that Florence is the right place to be.
